The city's motor vehicle maintenance industry to accelerate the promotion of the use of water-based, high-solid environmental paint, take the lead in promoting the use of water-based, high-solid paint primer, limit the use of solvent based paint. Since June 1, 2018, the city's first class vehicle maintenance enterprises have changed to water-based environment-friendly coatings. From January 1, 2019, all vehicle maintenance enterprises involved in painting operations in the city have switched to water-based environment-friendly coatings. To promote the application of coating processes with high coating efficiency, such as electrostatic spraying, spray painting flow and drying, etc. should be placed in the paint spraying room, and the gun using solvent based coating should be airtight cleaned.
We will promote the establishment of regional centralized injection centers. Measures such as strictly adopting terminal treatment and harmless disposal of hazardous wastes shall be taken to realize the overall improvement of painting technology and equipment level, encourage motor vehicle maintenance enterprises involved in painting operation to develop business cooperation with the stamping spraying center, and promote the centralized, economical and environmentally friendly development of painting operation in the industry.
